Enchant is here!

So excited to announce that a couple of bolts from the Enchant collection by Natalie Lymer (Cinderberry Stitches) have arrived to Be Knit Picky.  It is indeed the very first bolts of fabric for my shop!

It's this print pictured below that originally drew me to the line.  So very sweet!  A tea party with bunnies and hedgies!  What more can one ask for?  

I am also loving this print featuring birds on a line.  So simple, yet so cute.  I see so many possibilities with this print!

As I do with all fabric, once it arrives, I lovelovelove to scour the Internet (Pinterest!) and see what other people have made with this fabric.  I found a bunch of really adorable patterns using this fabric, as well as some patterns that I think Enchant would really compliment.

There are 4 prints from the collection offered in my shop as well as a pre-cut 10" layer cake (includes a 10" square of every print in the collection!).

6am: wake up and get ready for work
6:30am: wake boys up and get them ready for the day
7am-8:30am: Dropping boys off at respective schools and sitting in traffic.
8:30am-5:30pm: WORK WORK WORK; you know, the job that puts food on the table!
5:30pm - 7pm: scoop up boys and sit in more TRAFFIC and not in that order.
7pm-8:30pm:  Dinner, bath, bed and hang out with my favorite boys and not in that order.  
8:30-When I pass out:  QUILTING, SEWING, CRAFTING, KNITTING!!!  

Yep, I am kind of busy...  I have heard comments from friends wondering if I actually sleep.  My body may sleep, but my brain pretty much never stops.  So to add to my schedule above, here is what I think about when I am not thinking about my boys:

Nesting in my own way...

Lushyarn Handmade Knitting Needles

There are so many things that I am working on right now.  From knitting to organizing, the nesting instinct is in full swing.  Tuesday marks 33 weeks or 'T' minus 7 weeks until full term.  This isn't our first rodeo and I know that Baby K can make his/her debut earlier or later than my actual due date.  Unlike last time, I would like to have my hospital bag packed and ready to go.  This includes hand knits.  Currently have a cardigan drying (my own pattern!), one on the needles, another in the planning stage, a hat about half way finished and some labor socks under way.  LOTS of knitting going on over here.  

PS - LOVE that I have tomorrow off from work!  Paid holidays really never get old.
